Montagno Construction was general contractor for a multi-phase, major addition and renovation to an existing 154-bed skilled nursing facility. The project involved demolition of a 4-story wing and construction of a new 4-story addition; selective demolition at the opposite end of the facility and construction of a 1-story addition featuring a new entry and dining room; and total renovation of the remaining original building – 76,000 square feet in all.
We touched every surface, providing all new interior finishes, all new utilities and infrastructure, plus new parking lots. The skilled nursing facility was fully operational throughout demolition, construction, and renovation. Privately funded, the $11,500,000 project (current value $16,000,000) was completed in just over two years. Special attention was devoted to Joint Commission Guidelines for health and life safety concerns, including infection disease control measures.
“They are true professionals in the construction industry.”
