Montagno Construction prepared the 17 acre site with a 130-foot original change in elevation.
We blasted, moved, and removed 120,000 cubic yards of material, built 1,200 linear feet of
retaining walls up to 20 feet high, and 2 underground detention systems. The result was a 12-acre plateau to accommodate multiple buildings and extensive parking.

In Phase 2, Montagno Construction built 21,000 square feet in multiple buildings for CarMax’s showroom, offices, customer kiosks, and vehicle preparation facilities. These buildings accommodate mechanical repair, auto body, fueling, detailing, and photography of their entire inventory.

Site work also included a 12,000 gallon underground fuel tank, all new utilities, site lighting, landscaping, and all paving.

“I would like to express my gratitude for the hard work and exceptional teamwork. The Montagno team went well beyond what was expected and provided me with an exceptional customer experience [as well as] adhering to the high quality standard we seek.”

Woodbury Senior Center

Montagno Construction was Construction Manager as Advisor for this new construction community senior center for the Town of Woodbury. The site for the new center was high on a hill behind the existing town hall and police station, making access and site preparation particular challenges we mastered.

The completed center is fully accessible, houses community meeting spaces, game rooms, exercise room, kitchen, public computer access for seniors, and offices.

The $3,070,000 project, funded from State and Federal sources, was completed in 9 months.

St. Teresa of Avila Church

St. Teresa of Avila Church was renovated inside and out by Montagno Construction.

In the church proper, we renovated the sanctuary, the nave, and the choir loft touching all surfaces and HVAC. We transformed the lower level, now known as Seidel Hall, into a community room and built a new kitchen for their use.

Our exterior work involved building additions to the rear of the church, replacing the roof, restoring the spire, and stripping and painting the existing exterior siding. The site package included a new parking lot.

The church and hall are now handicapped accessible.
